RSPCA are holding a campaign called Makeover the World to raise awareness of animal testing for cosmetics. To participate all you have to do it dedicate a makeover and share it on social media, using the hashtag #MakeoverTheWorld.
So here is my entry!
They ask that you don't mention any product used - perhaps in case it causes some controversy over brands who test? However all the make up and tools used in mine are cruelty free and if you want to know any specifics just ask in the comments and I'll get back to you!
The unfiltered version haha! |
I wore this make up for a wee lunch date to La Barca in Helenburgh which is a Spanish tapas restaurant. Yum!
Also if you could please sign their petition which is to be sent to Estée Lauder companies, Johnson & Johnson, Kao, LVMH, Proctor & Gamble, Shiseido, L'Oréal group and Unilever!

Animal testing just makes me so sad :( whenever i buy products i always try to look for a cruelty free stamp. When i found out a lot of brands i use test on animals i decided never to purchase a thing from them again. One of my favorite brands that doesn't test on animals is Too Faced, they have the most adorable products.

ReplyDeleteThank you, I love it!
DeleteAnimal testing is cruel, particularly the way animals are treated inhumanly at these facilities. But I do want to do know, if animal testing is banned, what should they test on?
ReplyDeletethe whole basis of animal testing is to check for things right?
They have developed a sort of synthetic skin thing which is used in cosmetics testing quite a lot, also if you have a look on BUAV they have some info like this page on why animal testing is now obsolete, more about medical situations but there is probably some cosmetics info there too.
