Hello! This is the second instalment of the household empties post so let me know if you want to see more. I thought I'd just mention a change that my blog is going through, you might have noticed that I've taken down my cruelty free lists! This is simply because since moving down south and having a pretty stressful job my blog has suffered, so my cruelty free lists have been neglected. I decided to take them down and go through each brand and give it a good overhaul to avoid providing outdated and false information! However, I still don't have much free time at the moment so please bear with me until it's all sorted!
The Co-Op Pure & Gentle Fabric Conditioner
Thoughts: I bought this for moving away which was almost a year ago now, so it lasted well! Although as my mother taught me I don't use/use a tiny amount when washing towels which I'm not sure is a legit fact or not... Anyway I got on fine with it but I' m not a big fan of the smell, it's quite a powdery scent which is a bit much. It was 2 for £1.50 ( I think...) and I also got Blue Skies which smells much better! I can't leave a link because the co op website is crap...
Cruelty-free?: Yes.
Repurchase?: No.
Greenfrog All Purpose Natural Cleaner
Thoughts: I got this in The Vegan Kind box from ages ago but I didn't love it. It's not the best surface cleaner I've used and it has a very unusual smell! Not entirely unpleasant but there are definitely other scents I would prefer for this type of product. Link here.
Cruelty-free?: Yes.
Repurchase?: No.
Morrisons Apple Spice Washing Up Liquid
Thoughts: I got this near Christmas so I think it might have been a festive special? However, it smells amazing and made lots of big bubbles. I go on about how I don't like SLS in shampoo and soap but I am perfectly happy with it in washing up liquid, I always wear gloves so it doesn't affect my hands.
Cruelty-free?: Morrisons are BUAV approved for personal items which I've just found out - I thought it was for everything! However according to this link they are aiming to receive certification for their household items.
Repurchase?: Yes.
Morrisons Vegetarian Omega 3, 6 & 9
Thoughts: I used to take omega in the form of fish oil when I was at school as my mum said it was good for your brain and concentration so when I saw the veggy version in Morrisons I decided to try them again. Honestly, I didn't really notice any difference and they were a big more expensive then the other vitamins I get so I wouldn't get them again.
Cruelty-free?: Yes.
Repurchase?: No.
Superdrug Fresh Mint Toothpaste
Thoughts: I liked this toothpaste but they seem to have changed the formula and packaging so now it's in plastic - which isn't good for squeezing! - and I feel like it doesn't taste the same... However toothpaste is toothpaste really, as long as it's minty I am quite happy! I've also just looked on the website and it doesn't seem to be available but you can get sensitive or whitening versions for two tubes for £1.49 which is good! Toothpaste isn't something I want to spend a lot of money on so this is perfect but I might look into Morrisons and see how theirs compares.
Cruelty-free?: Yes.
Repurchase?: Yes.

Superdrug is where I get all my toothpaste and deodrants etc. I have that fabric softener and I don't think it smells of much lol. Will try some of the other scents as Co-op is becoming my favourite for household goods!

Yeah I like Superdrug for toothpaste! It's not overly offensive it's just a bit powdery for my liking :P definitely try the blue one though it's really good!! I wish I had a co op nearer me, kinda out the way :( xx
